Liam Lockwood

Liam Lockwood
Liam Lockwood is a junior, studying psychology, at the University of Texas. Lockwood was born Feb. 4, 1994 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., but grew up in San Antonio with his two siblings: Georgette — the eldest, and Antonio — the youngest. Lockwood, who has improved at a rapid speed, specializes in breaststroke, but also has a solid 200 IM.

2012-2013
Lockwood competed in multiple dual meets his freshman year, including power houses Arizona and Michigan. At the American Short Course Championships he finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke as well as sixth and ninth in the 200 breast and 200 IM.

2013-2014
Did not compete at the Big 12 Championships.

National Competition
Before attending UT, Lockwood was a Texas state champion. At the 2012 Texas UIL Class 5A championships, he won the 100 breaststroke and was a member of the 200 medley relay. The year before he took eighth place in the 100 breaststroke.
