Megan Douds
Megan grew up in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania where she saw great success swimming for her high school team. Megan qualified for the PIAI AAA state championship meet in her sophomore, junior, and senior years in the 100 butterfly all three years and the 50 freestyle her senior year. Megan committed to Westminster in 2014.
College
2014-2015
Megan saw amazing success in the pool throughout her first year as a titan. After the Wooster invitational mid season meet Megan held the fasted times in the conference in the 100 and 200 butterfly events. At the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) championship meet she was the highest female scorer for Westminster taking first place in both the 100 and 200 butterfly along with a third place in the 50 freestyle. Megan swam best times across the board in her individual events setting school records in the 100 fly and 50 free. Megan also played an important role on the 200, 400, and 800 free relays which took second, third, and second respectively and the 400 medley relay which took first place. Megan was named to the All-Conference first team in recognition of her exceptional performance.
Personal
Megan is a neuroscience major at Westminster and intends to go to med school after graduation.
