Michael Miller
Michael was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Swimming throughout his childhood in Houston, Michael swam for Dads Swim Club and later Stratford High School for four years. During his time at Stratford, his school captured two state championship titles and he won three state titles. With these accomplishments, Michael was named Texas Swimmer of the Year his senior year of high school. Graduating from Stratford in 2013, he has continued his swimming career at Duke University, where he trains butterfly and IM. You can always catch Michael on the pool deck getting a laugh out of one of his teammates or busting his moves to some of his favorite rap music.
Club
Michael is a member of Dads Swim Club in Houston, where he qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials and Speedo Junior Nationals in the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
College
2013-2014
During his freshman year at Duke University, Michael broke four school records in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 fly, and the 800 free relay. He finished third in the 400 IM, the best any member of the men’s swim team has finished as a freshman. Although he just missed qualifying for NCAAs, he aspires to qualify at some point during his college career.

At Duke, Michael is majoring in Psychology and receiving a certificate in Markets and Management.
