High School (Sherwood)
Coming out of high school, Morgan Hill was a 3-time Washington Post All-Met First-Team selection and a High school All-American. She was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish, English and Science honor societies, and swam for Nation’s Capital Swim Club.
Hill swam for Sherwood high school in Sandy Spring, Maryland, and was a 3A/4A State champ in the 50 free, 100 free, and as part of the 400 free relay. On October 3, 2015, Hill announced her verbal commitment to Virginia.
College (Virginia)
2017-2018
Hill was a key to UVA success in her sophomore year. At the ACC Championships, she swam on the winning 200, 400, and 800 free relays. She also placed 6th in the 50 free (22.21), 10th in the 200 free (1:44.79), and 3rd in the 100 free (48.02).
At the NCAA Championships, Hill placed 16th in the 50 free (22.41), 24th in the 200 free (1:45.20), and 13th in the 100 free (48.04).
2018-2019
Hill continued her progress at Virginia and had a breakout season during her junior year. At the ACC Championships, she took titles in the 50 free (21.68) and 100 fly (51.01) each by .01 of a second. She also won a title as part of the 800 free relay and took 2nd in the 100 free (47.46).
At the NCAAs, Hill took 13th in the 50 free (22.01), 7th in the 100 fly (50.84), and 15th in the 100 free (48.33).
