Nick Henze
Nick Henze is a senior at Boston College where he just finished his final season. Nick specializes in the sprint and mid-distance freestyles, and has set or contributed to seven Boston College school records. He currently studies marketing in BC’s Carroll School of Management, and hopes to work in Boston after he graduates.
2014-2015
As a senior Nick captained the team to fourteen dual meet victories. At the ACC Championship in Atlanta, Nick re-broke his own 200 yard freestyle school record by nearly two full seconds (1:36.96) as the leadoff swimmer of the school record-setting 800 yard freestyle relay (6:40.70). Additionally, Nick was a member of both the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relays which also set new school records (1:20.96, 2:59.79)
2013-2014
As a junior Nick took first place seventeen times during the season, and set a BC Flynn Recreational Complex pool record in the 200 yard freestyle (1:41.23). He was recognized as the Outstanding Performer of the meet on six occasions.
2012-2013
As a sophomore Nick was recognized as the Outstanding Performer of the meet seven times. At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, Nick set a school record in three individual events, and was a member of four school record-setting relays. Nick was recognized as the teams MVP for the 2012-2013 season.
2011-2012
As a freshman Nick tallied 38 first place finishes throughout the season. At ACCs, Nick placed 18th in the 200 yard freestyle, and was a part of the school record-setting 200 yard freestyle relay.
