2015 World Championships
Mochida swam on the 4×200 free relay in Kazan, which moved through the heats to finals and placed 7th overall.
2016 Olympic Games
Mochida swam on the 4×200 free relay in Rio, which moved through the heats to finals and placed 8th overall.
2018 Pan Pacific Championships
Mochida won her first individual international medal in her home country of Japan, touching for silver in the 200 fly in 2:07.66.
2018 Asian Games
Mochida kept the medal train rolling at the Asian games, adding 2 more silvers to her collection in Jakarta. She again touched 2nd in the 200 fly (2:08.72) and also swam on Japan’s 2nd place 4×200 free relay.
2019 World University Games
At the Summer Universiade, Mochida earned bronze in the 200 fly with a time of 2:09.38.
