Coming out of high school, Taylor Garcia was a 14-time All-American, 8-time MHSAA (Michigan) state champion, and a finalist for 2015 Detroit Athletic Club Michigan Athlete of the Year. Garcia set school records in the 100 fly and as part of two relays.
College (Arizona)
2015-2016
At her first PAC-12 Champs, Garcia placed 12th in the 100 back (53.12), 12th in the 200 back (1:55.47) and 33rd in the 50 free (23.45).
As a freshman, Taylor Garcia finished 23rd in the 100 back (52.70) and 43rd in the 200 back (1:56.26) at the NCAA Championships.
2016-2017
At the PAC-12 Championships, Garcia placed 9th in the 100 back (52.30), 12th in the 200 back (1:56.04) and 12th in the 100 fly (53.21)
At the 2017 NCAA Champs, Garcia was a Four-time CSCAA All-American with the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free and 400 medley relay teams. She finished 22nd in the 100 back (52.21) and 47th in the 50 free (22.68). After her sophomore year, Garcia transferred from Arizona to Michigan.

2017-2018
At her first Big Ten Championships after transferring to Michigan, Garcia placed 8th in the 100 back (52.82), 12th in the 200 back (1:55.18) and 17th in the 100 fly.
At the NCAA Championships, Garcia was CSCAA All-America honorable mention with the 400 medley relay, and finished tied for 30th in the 100 back (52.94), 32nd in the 200 back (1:54.71) and 58th in the 50 free (23.18).
2018-2019
At the Big Ten Champs, Garcia placed 11th in the 200 back (1:55.75), 12th in the 100 back (52.85) and tied for 42nd in the 50 free (23.31)
At her final NCAA’s, Garcia was a two-time CSCAA All-American with the 3rd place 400 yard medley relay and 6th place 200 yard medley relay teams. Individually, she finished 39th in the 100 back (53.04) and 46th in the 200 back (1:56.11)
