Tim Benage
Tim recently (2015) concluded his collegiate swimming career at Boston College. While at BC, Tim specialized in the sprint butterfly events, and contributed toward breaking multiple school records in the medley relays. Tim graduated with a degree in Biology, and plans to go on to study medicine.
2014-2015
As a Senior Tim captained the team, leading the squad toward having one of the best seasons the program has ever seen. Tim contributed to the success in the water as a member of the A medley relays, and the team’s top butter-flier in the individual events.
2013-2014
As Junior Tim was a key component in Boston College’s best-ever 200-yard medley relay team, where he split 21.80 in the butterfly (1:29.29). Tim’s races in the medley relay earned recognition as the outstanding performance of the meet on three separate occasions.
2012-2013
As a Sophomore Tim was selected as one of the members of the team to represent Boston College at the ACC Championship, where he had the team’s top finish in the 100 yard butterfly (49.96). Tim was also awarded the James J. Kane award for academic excellence for the fall semester, and made the ACC academic honor roll for the second year in a row.
2011-2012
As a Freshman Tim was selected for the ACC team in the spring semester. He was awarded the James J. Kane award for his academic excellence during the fall semester.
