Iona College men’s and women’s swimming head coach Nick Cavataro announced the appointment of Bradley Schott to his coaching staff.
“With three freshmen divers joining the team, along with a 21 first-year members in total, adding Bradley and his energetic attitude, strong expectations and experience to the staff is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Cavataro. “Bradley has a strong background in technique and mechanics and will provide excellent guidance for this team to reach its maximum potential.”
Schott has coached at the age-group and senior level in USA Diving with several programs, including Dive Haven located at Yale University and the prestigious USA Diving Inc. High Dive Champions, located out of SUNY Purchase. With USA Diving Inc, Schott coached several regional champions and national finalists. A recent graduate, Schott was an established diver at the University of Connecticut, where he was a Big East Finalist and NCAA Zone Finalist. Schott was also was a two-time High School All-American at Wilton High School (CT).
“With his technical expertise and strong desire to build a program, Coach Schott is sure to bring success to the Iona College swimming and diving team,” said Cavataro.
