He is also a Junior Nationals qualifier in the 200 Fly, 100 Fly and 100 Breast as well as a Winter Junior Nationals qualifier in the 200 IM. He was named an All-American in both the 100 Breast and 100 Fly for 2016.
As an Army brat he swam for several teams including the Wiesbaden Wahoos in Germany, Cheyenne Mountain Aquatics and Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado and now Leavenworth High School in Kansas during his high school career.
Brayden had an amazing long course season this summer after his successful high school state championships in May getting personal bests and making finals in the 200 Fly, 100 Fly, 100 Breast and 200 IM at the Futures Championships in Austin. In the 200 Fly he placed 2nd.
“I chose the University of Wyoming because I felt like home there. The team and I got along super well and Coach TJ and his staff are amazing. The University had exactly what I wanted to study and the campus was beautiful. I love the mountains and everything outdoors. I loved training at high altitude in Colorado and look forward to training at 7100’ with Coach TJ.
