Brazil Announces Roster For 2015 World Junior Championships

After announcing their roster for both the Pan Am Games and the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia, the Brazilian Aquatics Federation (CBDA) announced their squad for the upcoming junior world championships.

The meet will take place in late August. Brazil is sending a small female squad with only six girls. As for the boys, 14 swimmers will be sent to Singapore to represent Brazil.

At the last World Junior Championships, Brazil tied for 15th overall with a single medal. That medal was a silver medal won by Pedro Vieira in the 100m fly.

Their best finish ever in the event was at the first ever world junior championships back in 2006. There, Brazil was 10th overall with one gold, three silvers, and a bronze.

Could some of the brazilian users please name the athletes (and their PB’s) that have a chance to win a medal?
I know that Almeida in 1500 (15.12.20) free and 400 IM (4.15.82) might win a medal, De Souza in 100 free (49.16) also might have a chance to win a medal, but who else has a chance to win a medal?

thomaslurzfan,
Vinicius Lanza have 53.02 in 100fly(Gold in last Worlds was 53.01).

The girls 4x100free and 4x200free have an outside chance for medal. The girls 4x200free is good(two 2:01 and one 2:02)but one 2:05 kills the relay a bit.The 4x100free have one girl 56 flat one 56.2, one 56.6 and one 57flat.But the girl with 57flat is improving a lot(Rafaela Raurich, 14years-old)

The boys 4x100free:One 49.16,0ne 49.87 and two 50 high.
