Great discussion and a lot of good points. I’ll add one more point for consideration. No woman analysts in the podcast? Not to disrespect those that were on the podcast, but gender equity helps swimming and its related businesses, such as broadcasting about it, etc.

Of the three on the podcast, you’ve got the guy who hosts the podcasts, the EIC of the site, and one of the main stats/analysis people for the publication.
Sounds like an excellent lineup to me.
They have lots of women on lots of podcasts. Does every podcast have to have a woman on it?
And, I’ll mention, lots of women on staff too. Nicole, Annika, Anne, Retta…I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. I have to imagine over half of the content on the site is written by women? Seems that way at least.

Just so you all know, Torri pronounces her name “husk” … the e is silent.
I like Kelsi, but looking at her trend line for the last few years, I don’t think she is going much under 57 for the 100 fly, and I think it’s gonna take at least a 56 low to make it.
I always pronounced it Husk, have people been thinking it was pronounced Hoooske? husky hooosky……. I also agree with your butterfly take.

We may see a world record for each men’s 100m : fly (Dressel), back (KK), breast (Peaty), free (Dressel or Chalmers)
Men’s 100 back I’d say Kliment Kolesnikov, Xu Jaiyu, Ryan Murphy, and Evgeny Rylov could all do it. Kolesnikov’s raw speed and potential is unmatched, and all 3 of Xu, Murphy and Rylov have been under 52 before. It’s going to be a great final.
Everything except w100 free
Don’t see W 100 fly record going down anytime soon.
W 100 fly has several youngsters at nearly 55 level. That record is going down.

All individual world records in high danger of going down IMO:
M 100 FR
M 100 BK
M 100/200 BR
M 100/200 FL
W 100 BK
W 100 FL
All relays are in danger, could see at least 1 or 2.
M 50/1500 FR, W 400/800 FR, W 200 BK and W 100 BR are in danger too.
Not all of these will go down, but so many opportunities.
