Breaststroker Cassidy Mulligan Commits to DI Virginia Military Institute

Cassidy Mulligan, an incoming high school senior from Old Bridge, New Jersey, has committed to swim for Division I Virginia Military Institute. Mulligan will graduate from Old Bridge High School in spring 2021 join the Keydet’s class of 2025.

Mulligan is a current swimmer for YMCA of Great Monmouth. She also is part of the AFJROTC program at Old Bridge High School. She will continue with her ROTC when she arrives at VMI in fall 2021.

At the 2020 ECAC Championships with the Keydets, Mulligan would have been the Keydet’s fastest 100 and 200 breaststroke swimmer with her current best times.

  • 100 breaststroke – 1:11.27
  • 200 breaststroke – 2:33.96

At the ECAC Championships, VMI placed 19th as a team and four Keydets were named to the S&C All-American team.
