“I’d first like to thank Dr. [Micah] Parker and Coach [Rick] Rowland for this opportunity to be back at CBU and to be part of the Lancer family,” said Bossert. He added, “I am extremely excited and blessed to come back to CBU! My wife Ali and I have dreamed about returning to the place where we met for as long as we can remember, and to be able to come to CBU and work alongside Coach Rowland and Coach Lisa [Siregar] is a dream come true. We love CBU and can’t wait to be back in the Inland Empire and show our son Charlie around campus.”

King has been coaching competitive diving for over a dozen years, starting with Vista Murrieta High School in 2011, adding Turn N Burn Diving in 2013, and completing the Southern California trifecta with a two-year stretch with Division II powerhouse Pomona-Pitzer. Most recently, King headed up the New Mexico State Aggie women’s dive team, where she successfully coached multiple athletes to post-season competitions.
A two-time All-American, King competed at California Baptist University for four years as a diver. In her senior year, after the two-year transition, she qualified for the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Nationals. King received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from CBU in 2013. She still holds top-five marks in the program record book in the 1-meter (11 dives) and 3-meter (11 dives) competitions.
