I have to admit, after the mens and womens NCAAs ive offically jumped on the CAL bandwagon (the bear bandwagon= new group? :D) . Both mens and womens seem to be the most consistent programs in the country, and both develop the freshman better than anyone else. Even better about these men is that no one even picked them to be top 3, and now their in the race for the title. Phenominal coaching job. Picked to finish 5th or 6th and now in first after losing all of that firepower last year. No rebuilding just reloading with coach Durden and the Cal Mens team. Awesome!

He’s a great coach. We see the talent of a coach when their swimmers continue to progress and when their swimmers are at their best when it counts. When I see results of his swimmers year after year it’s the case. I’m not a specialist of NCAA but when I see Stanford it’s not the same thing. Dave Durden is definitely one of the best young coaches in USA with Todd Schmitz or Paul Yetter. The new generation of coaches is there.

Yep, just get the job done with quiet confidence.Nobody showboating, no Cal swimmer tweeting that the field they are swimming in is” weak” this year just fast swimming and getting it done. Class act .
ROLL YOU BEARS!!
