This was the 45th year of one of the faster mid season high schools invite in the country. This year it was in Irvine because the Mission pool is undergoing a major renovation. Mission Veijo High School did swim this invite. Note the top five boys and girls teams / times are very good for mid season un tapered swims. Very competitive meet and a lot of these athletes will end representing thier high school at the California State CIF Championships in May. Congrats to all of the athletes.

How could this be the Mission Viejo Invitational when it’s held in Irvine and it appears that Mission Viejo H.S. did not compete? Just curious……

The pool wasn’t available and from what I read Mission Viejo high lose the good swimmers to Santa Margarita who didn’t compete either.
