Carson Foster on Being on Team USA: “It’s the relationships that you want to go for”

2023 U.S. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

After making his 2nd LCM world championships, Carson Foster was excited to be back on Team USA. The Longhorn pro revealed that getting to race on the worlds biggest stage is great, but the real reason that motivated him was getting to be a part of Team USA, where you form friendships that are the heart and soul of what really make the trip enjoyable.

Carson Foster gets it. It’s about team from family, to coaches, to teammates.

As for Michael Andrew, there no “i” in “team”.

Carson Foster’s willingness to recognize his coaches, teammates, esp. Chase K., and working with teammates is absolutely spot on about MESSAGE! And, he comes across as one of the most authentic [overused word] and easy-speaking reps for our sport — Hopefully, he’ll be around for at least the next decade: Paris, Los Angeles, and beyond?

Agreed! I love that he always wanted to talk about the other swimmer after every race. Even when the interviewer specifically asked him to talk about himself, he talked about his coaches and support.
