Carson-Newman will begin theirl Inaugural season in the pool on Thursday with their Orange vs. Blue meet. Coach Paige McCord said “This is a significant day in my program’s history.” McCord was hired back in October of 2012 and this is the first collegiate competition that will take place since that announcement. The Eagled have 31 swimmers on the roster this year. The team will compete in the Bluegrass Mountain Conference.
The competition will start at 5 pm on Thursday at the Maddox Swimming Pool. The swimmers will be available for autographs after the completion of the meet.
