Cesar Cielo Secures New Sponsorship Dollars

Cesar Cielo has secured a new sponsorship deal with Furnas, which is a subsidiary of state-owned electrical utilities company Eletrobras. SportsPro Media reported that the sponsorship deal is for one year and that the deal could extended up to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Blog do Coach lists the following as Furnas sponsored athletes; Chloé Calmon, Solberrg Pedro, Bruno Schmidt, Carolina Søberg, Maria Clara Rufino,Victor Penalber, Arthur Zanetti, Hypólito Diego, Caio Campos, Daniele Hypólito, Petrix Barbosa, Jade Barbosa, Sergio Sasaki, Daiane dos Santos and coach Renato Araújo.

Furnas will not only support Cielo, but will contribute to Novos Cielos, which is a foundation that teaches children to swim. In turn Cielo will be involved in a multi-platform advertising campaign.

Cielo’s adds Furnas to his list of sponsors which includes Adidas (international), Embratel, Post, Audi and Gatorade.
