Chattahoochee Gold’s Jaclyn Csubak Commits to Georgia Southern

Jaclyn Csubak of Woodstock, Georgia, verbally committed to Georgia Southern University for 2017-18.

“I chose Georgia Southern because of the amazing athletic and academic opportunities that will be available to me. Not to mention, as soon as I walked on campus I felt the incomparable team atmosphere.  The team was super welcoming and I can’t wait to be an Eagle!”

Csubak swims for Woodstock High School and Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club. She competed for Woodstock in the 200 IM and 100 breast at the 2016 Georgia 6A State Championships, and finished 13th in the latter. At the 2016 NCSA Spring Swimming Championships, Csubak competed in the 50/100/200 breaststroke events.

Nearly all her best SCY times come from the 2015 Georgia Senior Short Course State Meet last December:

  • 100 breast – 1:05.06
  • 200 breast – 2:21.89
  • 200 IM – 2:12.78
  • 400 IM – 4:41.21

Csubak is the second in her family to attend Georgia Southern; her brother graduated from GSU, although he did not swim there.
