China Wins It All At The Diving World Series In Kazan

Team China was once more the best this weekend in Kazan, Russia, at the third and penultimate leg of theFINA/NVC Diving World Series 2017 (March 31- April 2).

The powerhouse clinched 10 titles out of the 10 on offer following the success in the inaugural event in Beijing, with nine victories, and 10 gold medals at the second leg in Guangzhou.

Chinese Olympic champions Cao Yuan and Chen Aisen won the 3m (515.40) and 10m (580.60) individual events respectively, while experienced divers Shi Tingmao and Ren Qian pocketed the women’s 3m (381.90) and 10m (394.25) respectively.

As for the synchronised events, the pair Cao Yuan and Xie Siyi took gold in the 3m, while Chen Aisen/Yang Hao got the 10m title.

Wang Han/Li Zheng and Lian Jie/Lian Junjie (CHN) were the best in the mixed events with 322.50 and 347.76 points.

Others nations with a medal in Kazan were Australia, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Mexico and Russia.
