Christiansen Destroys Norwegian Record Books

Henrik Christiansen tore apart the record books at the Norwegian Short Course National Championships this past weekend.

Christiansen broke his own national marks in the 400, 800 and 1500 freestyle as well as the 400 IM. He posted a 3:41.81 in the 400 freestyle beating his previous best of 3:42.75. In the 800 freestyle he recorded a 7:38.58 beating his own record of 7:43.26. He won the 1500 freestyle in a time of 14:37.44 breaking his own mark of 14:47.55.

In the 400 IM Christiansen put up a time of 4:09.79 beating his previous best of 4:12.32.

Lavrans Solli broke his own 200 backstroke record winning the event in a time of 1:55.85.

Monica Johannsessen posted a 24.87 breaking Henriette Brekke‘s 2008 50 freestyle record of 24.90.
