Pittsburgh, PA – Chatham University announced today that Christina ‘Tilly’ Sheets has been named the head women’s and head men’s swimming and diving coach.
Coach Sheets has been with the women’s program as head coach for the last two seasons. Prior to Chatham, she was the Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach for Men and Women at Clarion University from 2000-2009. Coach Sheets’ accolades are impressive and include membership in the Clarion Sports Hall of Fame as well as being a 28-time NCAA Division II Women’s Swimming All American, five-time NCAA DII National Champion, four-time NCAA Academic All-American, three-time Clarion Female Athlete of the Year, and two-time PSAC Swimmer of the Year.
The men’s swimming & diving team will compete starting in the fall of 2015, in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, which is under the auspices of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Chatham’s women’s swimming & diving team already competes in this conference.
