Mulund Ke Junior College Ki Student 16-Years-Old Hazel Raikundalia Ne Elephanta Caves Se Gateway Of India Tak Ka 14km Sea Route Swim Ki. Ye Swim Inhone Children’s Day Ke Din 2 Hours And 45 Minutes Mei Puri Ki. Ye Swim Karne Ka Unka Maksad Ye Tha Ki Environment Ke Liye Clean Oceans Ki Kitni Jarurat Hai. State Level Swimming Champion Jisne Recently Hi Smt Sulochanadevi Singhania School, Thane Se Pass Out Kiya, Hazel Ko Mulund MLA Mihir Kotecha Ne Bhi Gateway Par Water Se Bahar Aate Hi Felicitate Bhi Kiya. Unke Coach Umesh Uttekar Ne Bhi Long Distance Swimming Mei Unke Maiden Attempt Ko Support kiya.
TOI Se Baat Karte Huye, Hazel Ne Kaha: “Mai Elephanta Se Gateway Tak Swim Karna Chahti Thi Kyu Ki Mai Hamare Seas Aur Oceans Ki Poor Condition Ke Baare Mei Jaan Rahi Hun. Bahot Saare Plastic Trash, Industrial Waste Ka Pollution Aur Domestic Sludge Daily Hi Oceans Mei Dumped Kiye Jaate Hai Jo Ki Environment Ke Liye Bilkul Accha Nhi Hai. Mujhe Swim Karte Huye Bhi Bada Careful Rahna Pada Tha Floating Plastic Bottles, Waste Paper, Cardboard Cartons Aur Other General Garbage Ko Avoid Karne Ke Liye. Jo Ki Bahot Unfortunate Hai.”
Unhone Aage Kaha Ki, “Hamare Oceans Hi Origin Aur Engine Hai Planet Ke Sabhi Life forms Ka, Phir Bhi Bina Care Kiye Huye Hum Unme Bahot Se Plastic Aur Chemical Trash Dump Karte Hai. Mujhe Pata Hai Kai Saare Swimmers Sirf Isliye Bhi Avoid Kar Deteh Hai Open Water Mei Swim Karne Se Kyu Ki Usme Bahot Jyada Visible Dirt Aur Pollution Hota Hai. Hume Apne Seas Ko Dumping Yard Mei Turn Nhi Karna Chaiye.”
