Cleveland State University head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach Paul Graham announced that 13 student-athletes have committed to join the two programs for the 2017-18 academic year.
The student-athletes announced as part of this release include nine from the United States—three from Ohio, three from Pennsylvania and one each from Florida, Michigan and New Mexico. There are also two incoming student-athletes from Poland and one each from France and South Africa.
“It has been so much fun recruiting this year,” Graham said. “The staff has really refined our process, and we are focusing in on the right student-athletes. This group along with the commits in the fall make up a hard-working group that will help the Viking swimming & diving program move forward.”
Eleven of the incoming Vikings will be true freshmen while two transfers will join the men’s program that each have two years of eligibility remaining.
This group of 13 incoming student-athletes will join the 11 that committed earlier this academic year to joining Cleveland State in the fall of 2017.
