The Cleveland State Vikings have received a signed NLI from local free and fly specialist DJ Arslanian.  DJ should immediately contribute to the Vikings in the Horizon League, as his 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly would have already scored in the B final based on last year’s championship results.

DJ is a member of club team SwimStrong, an NCSA Jr. National qualifier and a Speedo Junior National qualifier.  He is a four-year varsity letter winner and two-year captain for Strongsville High School in Cleveland. While representing the Mustangs in high school competition, DJ reached as high as a sixth place state finish in the 100 butterfly in 2015. DJ has earned All-Ohio recognition five times, All-District recognition six times and All-American recognition twice. He has also earned Conference Scholar Athlete recognition twice.

“I chose CSU because of their great academic and athletic programs. They have complete faith in me and I do of them.  I am very excited to represent my city of Cleveland and Strongsville OH. Looking forward to being a Viking!”
