Coach’s Intel: Marc Danin of Islander Aquatics an Underwater Work Set

In today’s Coach’s Intel, Marc Danin of New York’s Islanders Aquatics shares an underwater fly kick set that has helped improve his swimmers streamline. The set is done frequently before main sets.

Here is the workout:

This set has really helped my team’s streamline and under-waters.  I use it at least 4 times a week prior to the main set.

Underwater Fly Kick/ Hypoxic set

16 x 50 with fins as–

25: 4fly kicks on your stomach- 4fly kicks on left side -4fly kicks on Back  -4fly kicks on right side then easy free ( this is all done underwater fast )

25: Odd-fly, Even-free
