The top collegiate synchronized swimmers in the country will compete for numerous titles at the 2015 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships March 25-28 in Columbus, Ohio.
Lindenwood University won its first collegiate title last year. The championships, to be held at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of The Ohio State University, will feature solo, duet, trio and team competition, with all finals on Saturday, March 28.
“We are thrilled to be returning to Columbus for the U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships,” said Kevin Warner, USA Synchro Executive Director. “We anticipate another exciting and very competitive meet.”
Tickets are $10 on Thursday and Friday, and $15 on Saturday. All-event passes will be $30. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-GOBUCKS, by logging on to www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com or by purchasing at the event.
Swimmers from the following teams will take part in the event: Boston University, Carleton College, Colorado State University, University of Florida, Lindenwood University, Miami University, Ohio State University, Stanford University, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, University of the Incarnate Word, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, University of Pennsylvania, University of Richmond and Wheaton College.
Lindenwood University swept the solo, duet, trio and team events last year to win its first synchro collegiate title in Oxford, Ohio. Ohio State finished second and Stanford was third.
