Collegiate Women Sports Award to Air on CBS featuring Stanford’s Felicia Lee

The Collegiate Women Sports Award Presented by Honda (CWSA) announced today that CBS Sports Network will air the live announcement of the Honda Cup on Monday, June 30, at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST, from the USC Galen Center Founders Room in Los Angeles, Calif.

“We are pleased that CBS Sports Network will televise the Collegiate Women Sports Award presented by Honda’s announcement of the Honda Cup,” said Chris Voelz, CWSA Executive Director. “The telecast will showcase the excellence of the unbelievable female athletes who will be honored as the best in collegiate athletics.”

THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards has honored the nation’s top NCAA women student-athletes for 37 years, recognizing superior athletic skills, leadership, academic excellence and eagerness to participate in community service. Since commencing its sponsorship in 1986, Honda has provided more than $2.8 million in institutional grants to the universities of the award winners and nominees to support women’s athletics programs at the institutions. Previous Honda Cup winners include Brittney Griner, Ann Meyers Drysdale, Lisa Fernandez, Misty May-Treanor, Maya Moore, and Candace Parker.
