University of Nebraska women’s swimming and diving team added to their class of 2019 with the signing of Colorado Athletic Club Stingrays’ Kaylyn Flatt. Flatt, a senior at Cherry Creek High School, will join the Huskers in the fall of 2015.
At the 2014 Colorado State 5A Championships, Flatt placed 11th in the 200 free and tenth in the 500. She anchored Cherry Creek’s 200 free relay (with 24.65 in prelims) and split a 53.71 in finals for their 400 free relay, contributing to Cherry Creek’s third-place finish in the event. Flatt’s top times over the last two seasons include:

Flatt had a strong long course season this last summer; she dropped 27 seconds in her 1500, 11 in the 800, 5 in the 400m free, and 5.5 in the 200m back.
Flatt joins a Cornhuskers class of 2019 that also includes Jackie Jeschke, Lindsey Helferich, Morgan McCafferty, and Rilye Fries.
