IN THEIR WORDS
Head Coach Christopher Woodard on the swimmers’ performance in the last regular season meet…
“It’s generally really tough to swim at this point (with the Mountain West Championship) about three weeks out because our girls are really beat up. I was appreciative of what they did. I think they showed a lot of grit and resolve, especially against Northern Colorado. Hats off to UNC; they have become a very, very tough team to compete against. For our team to rise to that level and make sure they pulled out the Ws, I am very hopeful for what we will be able to accomplish in the next three weeks.”

Woodard on working toward the Championship…
“First we need to get healthy. We don’t have some swimmers in their usual positions, so first and foremost is get them healthy, rest them a whole bunch and then we will see what happens.”

UP NEXT
The Rams will have about three weeks off before traveling to Minneapolis for the Mountain West Championships held at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center from Feb. 20-23, 2019.
