Columbia Swim Club has an Assistant Coach position opening, starting Sept 1, 2017. This coach will be the Lead Coach for the Senior 1 Group. This group is the entry into the 13 & Over program and includes coaching a wide range of ability with this group of swimmers. This job will include other coaching opportunities within CSC in addition to the lead coach position. This position would be approximately 20 hours a week, plus meet sessions. There is also a possibility of some volunteer coaching with the University of Missouri college team.
CSC is recognized as a USA Swimming Bronze Medal Club with 250+ swimmers ranging from novice 5 year olds to Olympic Trials qualifiers. It is the oldest and only swim club in Columbia MO, a college town (pop. 100,00) located in central Missouri between Kansas City and St. Louis. Columbia frequently receives “best place to live” awards due to its low cost of living, 4 colleges, great downtown area and excellent community vibe.
