The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced a list of nine candidates for its Board of Directors and one for its Executive Board.
The candidates, which include five men and five women representing each NCAA Division, will fill two divisional vacancies and a new administrative position implemented last year. Board of Directors members serve two-year terms and are eligible for up to three terms.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s election will take place online.
In Division I, Georgia Tech’s Courtney Hart is running for a second term, while Fresno State’s Jeanne Flack and Cornell’s Patrick Gallagher have also applied for the position.
Saint Cloud State’s Jeff Hegle is completing his third two-year term in Division II, meaning his seat will be vacated. Applying for the position are Andrew Makepeace of Findlay and Fairmont State’s Patrick Snively.
The Division III position is also vacant, with Dani Korman leaving MIT for a position at the University of California. The candidates include Jon Carlson of Gustavus Adolphus College, Teresa Fish from Illinois Wesleyan University, and UW-Eau Claire’s Anne Ryder.
Mandy DiSalle, the head coach at the University of Cincinnati, is running for the position of President-Elect, where she would assist incoming president Joe Dykstra.
The only applicant for the newly-created administrative position was Brad Boswell, the Assistant Athletics Director at Purdue.
In addition to those re-applying, the current members of the Board are as follows:
- Clark Campbell, President
- Matt Barany, Treasurer
- Brian Schrader, Secretary
- Susan Teeter, Past President
- Teri McKeever, At-Large
- McGee Moody, Division I
