As exciting as the 2018 Commonwealth Games were in their own right, the competition served as a selection meet of sorts for British Swimming’s European Championships squad. Per the qualification criteria, the first and second highest placed British swimmer in each individual Olympic event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games will be selected for the Euro C’ships, provided the athlete meets the minimum qualification times.
You can view the table of qualification times below, while reading the official Selection Criteria in its entirety here.
The 2018 European Championships are being hosted by Glasgow, Scotland and slated for August 12th – August 20th.
As such, throughout the Commonwealth Games we maintained a European Championships British team tracker, just to keep a running list of those highest placed Brits having clocked QTs in Australia this week. Here’s how the squad shapes up thus far, knowing swimmers may opt out of swimming the event and/or additional swimmers may be added at coaches’ discretion.

That article says 2 swimmers per event but the list shows 3 per event?
I think the list is meant to represent all qualifying times regardless of whether they actually will be selected. The third qualifier may not swim the event depending on whether the top two decide to keep it on their schedules.
