Tom Daley won the British Diving Team’s final medal of the Windsor leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series with bronze in the 10m Platform.
The Team have signed off from their performance at the penultimate leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Windsor with one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
Daley had a unsteady start to the final as he dropped marks on his Armstand dive but moved back up the score board with 91.80 points for his Front 3 ½ Somersaults 1 Twist piked.
On the back of bronze in the mixed 3m Synchro on day two, the Olympic bronze medallist showed more consistency through the final four rounds and finished with a total score of 511.50 to take the bronze.
Tonia Couch finished in sixth in the Women’s 10m Platform with a total score of 330.20.
Going into the final leg of the Series, the British Diving Team has three athletes in the top three in the overall rankings for the Series.
Couch and Jack Laugher currently sit at the top of the women’s 10m and men’s 3m respectively while Daley is ranked second in the 10m Platform.
Couch and Sarah Barrow are in fourth place in the rankings for the women’s 10m Synchro.
