Rose will be able to swim two events at the 2023 World Championships with his 100 fly win, as he also finished second in the 50 fly with a new personal best of 23.20.
Feel bad for Shaine Casas. He has the speed and talent, but just doesnt put it together at the right time. Hope he can get on the Team in 2024.
Rose has a really interesting stroke; Phelpsian butterfly with respect to kick/pull coordination, pressing the chest/driving from the hips, and the general fluidity of the transition, but with more explosiveness/fast twitch activation characteristic of a sprinter. Dropping time like this from semis to finals is a great sign too. This guy is looking really great heading into worlds as first seed for team USA. I have him in medal contention. And Heilman with a great finish and back-half pacing; great sign to see that kind of composure especially at his age. Even though Casas and Dressel are out in this event, I think we’re in good hands.
Caeleb getting better each swim!!
CAL’S COOKING!
Rose sub-50 in Paris
Heilman clears that fraud by a mile
Explain how he is a fraud
Can’t expect Andrew to explain much. He just has a deep hatred for anything related to Cal men’s swimming. Maybe women’s swimming? Maybe just California as a state in general?
Heilman out-touches Rose in a way that’s similar or different from how Nesty is ‘untrustworthy’ and ‘hiding things’? If this is you only midway through nationals, I can’t wait to see what kind of wild takes you progress towards going forward
this andrew guy has some serious beef with cal
and out from under his rock slithers Andrew
After a sluggish first day Cal has exploded here.
You mean the first day where they had two of the top 4 men and the second place finisher for the women in the 100 free? That first day?
Yes that first day.
I think he’s talking about the Gabe Jett and Trenton “Steinway” Julian disasterclass in their respective events
