DeepFlight Submersible – Searching for Whale Song – GoPro Video

I have seven GoPros, a few more than Tyler Clary…I think. (Clary’s crazy about these cameras for capturing footage of his car racing.) I use them for work, some SwimSwam coverage, etc. So, I’m a fan, and I’m always hoping GoPro will release an “aquatic themed” video so I can distribute.  This one’s of renowned submersible designer Graham Hawkes and co-pilot Lee Behel.  In the video they go on a surreal adventure in the DeepFlight Super Falcon submersible.

FROM GOPRO:

Using their hydrophones and their wits, our intrepid explorers cruise the underwater valleys of Hawaii in an attempt to capture whale song. The DeepFlight Super Falcon submersible was designed, built and operated by Hawkes Ocean Technologies (http://deepflight.com).

If you’re a swimmer or  a swim coach, and you capture great swimming footage with a GoPro or GoPros, please share with SwimSwam. Also share your Twitter handle. If the footage is strong, we’ll share and tweet the link to your Twitter handle. While your at it, share a little about yourself and your swim team. We will gladly include it!
