Editor’s note: the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)’s rankings track dual meet strength, specifically. That is, a higher-ranked team is expected to win in a head-to-head dual meet with a lower-ranked team, according to the voters. These rankings aren’t an NCAA finish prediction – for a ranking closer to that model, check out SwimSwam’s Power Rankings (for Division I).
The Denison women moved up from #2 to #1, while the Kenyon men continue to sit on top, in the latest round of the CSCAA dual meet polls. The defending Division III champions on both sides, the Emory women and the Denison men, are both currently ranked #2.
There was a lot of movement towards the bottom end of the poll, especially on the men’s side, where five of the six teams ranked 20th-25th were unranked in November’s poll. The previous #1 on the women’s side, Johns Hopkins, slipped to #4.

Wow, I guess they must have scored this out from the winter invite results. But, boy, it sure looks like Denison outscores Kenyon based on the current top times in the College Swimming database.
