Disability Ko Challenge Karte Huye Young Swimmers Ki Nazar World Record Par

Disability aur sea ko swim karte huye cross karne ki daunting challenge ko defy karte huye, 15 differently-abled children ka ak group Rameshwaram se Chennai tak 600km se jada ki distance ko tairkar world record banane ki koshish me Sunday ko Promenade Beach par pahuncha, Jahan unka bhavya swagat kiya gaya.

Tamil Nadu Fisherman’s Association dwara supported Wave Riders swimming expedition 5 August ko Rameshwaram se start hua aur 15 August ko Chennai ke Marina Beach par samapan se pahle 604km (roughly 325 nautical miles) ki distance cover karega.

Team me youngest member 11 saal ka bachcha aur ak 14 saal ki ladki shaamil hai, jinhone last 6 days se har din 55km ki average distance cover kiya hai.

Expedition ke saath five boats ka beda hai, jisme life guard support, emergency care provisions and ak ambulance  standby par hai. Coordinators ne kaha, ki Swimmers ko rotation ke base pe about ak ghante ke baad break diya jata hai, jisme kisi bhi time 8-10 swimmers chalte rahte hain.

Puducherry pahochne se pahle expedition, Kattumavadi, Velankanni, Tharangambadi, Pazhaiyar and Parangipettai me ruka. Aage ki journey me Marakkanam, Mammallapuram and Injambakkam me rukna shaamil hai, jiske baad Marina par Kannagi Statue par samapan hoga.

Ak coordinator ne kaha, “Chennai ke Swimmers kai saalon se Tamil Nadu ke Sports Development Authority ki help se U. Satish Kumar ke lead me coaches ki ak team dwara rigorous training le rahe hain.”
