Disabled Kids Ne Sikha Water Survival Skills:- Indian Swimming News

Drishti Marine, Jo ki Goa ki State- appointed lifeguard agency hai unhone ek training programme start Kiya hai Jisme disabled bachcho ko water based survival skills sikhai jayegi.

Iske liye Drishti ne Sethu Centre ke sath bhi tied up Kiya hai jisse ki bachcho ka development toh ho hi sath hi family guidance bhi mile jisse ki unhe water mei float karne ke liye help milegi.

“Water mei khelna children ke liye enjoyment toh hai hi, but Kai baar ye log water bodies mein direct chale jaate hai bina uske dangers ko samjhe huye aur agar aise mein unhe swimming skills nhi aayengu toh risk ho sakta hai,” Sethu director Dr. Nandita De Souza ne kaha.

Sethu ne Marine se baat ki aur disable bachcho ke liye aise programme ko conduct karane mein interest dikhaya.

“Disable children’s mein specially jinhe autism hua rahta hai unme death ka most common cause drowning ko hi paaya gaya hai. Toh ye programme ek opportunity ki tarah hai hamare in bachcho aur unki family ke liye ki water mei utre aur professional coaches se most competent manner mein survival skills sikhein,” unhone kaha.

Drishti Marine ke chief training officer Debanshu Das ne kaha ki lifesavers bachcho ko one-on-one training sessions dete hai. “Bahot rarely hi Aisa hota hai ki hume aise initiatives jaise ki ‘learn to float’ milte hai jisme ki log disabled children’s ko essential survival skills sikhate hai wo bhi free of cost. Mera bachcha ab swimming aur floating dono mei hi pahle se kaafi jyada confident ho gaya hai,” Zurica D’Souza ne kaha Jo khud ek parent hai.

Ye free programme Drishti ki us commitment ka part hai jisme unhone Goa ke beaches aur water bodies ke sath community swimming pool mei water safety aur inclusivity ko enhance karne ki baat kahi thi.

Primary objective toh yhi hai ki bachcho ko pahle emergency mein float karne ke liye equip Kiya Jaye q ki floating unhe calm rakhegi aur jisse ki unke survival ke chance aur bhi increase ho jayenge.

Goa ke across private locations mei ‘learn to float’ programme ko extend karne ka decision bachchon ke drowning cases ko dekhte huye liya gaya hai.
