Does Water Have Memory

If you spend, as many swimmers do, up to 20 hours per week in the water at swim practice, this video is worth a look.

Via Youtube:

Water — just a liquid or much more? Many researchers are convinced that water is capable of “memory” by storing information and retrieving it. The possible applications are innumerable: limitless retention and storage capacity and the key to discovering the origins of life on our planet. Research into water is just beginning.

One thing anybody can test with water is through emotions . The body is composed by 90% of water , hard to deny that . So , whenever u feel emotional in a situation , how does your body feels like ? when u feel angry or happy , there is a HUGE difference in your overall state . Nobody can deny that . So , this means simply that 1) Emotions are energy in motion 2) it surely influences our way of being and thus the body state 3) as the body is made out of 90% of water , it’s obvious to see that emotions influences the state of our ” Water “body . In the direction ,… Read more »

I think it’s important to keep an open mind, either way. There could be legitimate reasons peer-reviewed journals haven’t taken this on yet – it doesn’t fit into our current way of thinking about water.

Does this video prove anything? Not at all.

But to assume that this is all quackery is also wrong. Have you done experiments to show why it is wrong or what is really going on in the images? No?

Clearly the purpose of the video was not to show all assumptions and the details of the scientific method. It is to promote the idea. The idea is intriguing, but I agree nothing has been proven.

All I can tell you is that… Read more »

More over , scientists don’t know exactly what they are speaking of . Why ? simply because u can’t approach such an interesting domain just with intelect Tools .
On the other hand , Quantum Physics have discovered way more about water qualities as well as for many other domains ( the intelect can’t enter there alone ) .
This all means one thing : Our collective beleifs are very limited & limited by science itself . The yogi Masters discovered many things that seem incredible to beleive thousands years ago …they know that water or all the elements have not only memory but also a consciousness . Of course , they won’t try to prove it to… Read more »

This is clear example of pseudoscience (which is a polite way to put it). The link below does a great job of going through the problems with the information presented in the video, including lacking any experimental detail. Those details aren’t just absent from the video, there is nothing in the peer reviewed scientific literature which resembles the technique they proposed to have discovered.

It makes sense. Computer memory (flash drives, memory sticks, hard drives, etc) are made out of refined crystallized rock. It would seem only logical that other substances, like liquids or gels, could hold information as well. Cool story.
