Duke Swimming & Diving Releases 2016-17 Meet Schedule

The Duke Blue Devils have released their schedule for the upcoming 2016-17 season, which is tightly-packed with ACC dual meet action.

The first meet of the year will be with both Florida State and Minnesota. They’ll travel to Tallahassee and battle with a new-look FSU team that had a complete coaching overhaul over the summer, along with a strong Minnesota team from the Big Ten. On the women’s side, a Minnesota team that has been a perennial power in the Big Ten will face off with a rising Duke team that has a deep and talented incoming freshman class.

The Blue Devils will head to Blacksburg, Va., two weekends later for a two-day meet with the likes of host Virginia Tech along with Virginia Tech and William & Mary. They’ll close out their fall dual meet schedule with an October 29th meeting with Northwestern for their men’s team and NC State for their women’s team.

For their mid-season invite meet, as the Nike Cup has been moved to February rather than the usual November date, the Blue Devils will compete at the NC State Invitational in Greensboro, N.C., for three days of competition.

Duke will face conference foes Virginia as well as North Carolina before they plunge into the post-season, with the ACC Championships and the NCAA Championships following their final duals. The full Duke schedule is laid out below.
