UNCW had a pair of winning streaks snapped on Saturday as East Carolina won both meets at the Minges Natatorium.

RESULTS

UNCW’s women’s team (3-2) saw its three-meet winning streak halted while the men (2-2) had their modest two-win streak stopped. East Carolina improved to 4-1 on the men’s side and 5-1 on the women’s.

Connor Forsythe, a sophomore, captured UNCW’s first event on the afternoon, winning the 200 Butterfly with a time of 1:50.81.

Sophomore Sean Cannon continued his success in the 50 Freestyle, topping the field with a time of 21.27 seconds. He later swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 Freestyle Relay (1:24.28).

On the women’s side, junior Adyson Lowe won the 1-meter board with 250.20 points and added a second-place finish in the 3-meter (272.03).

The Seahawks host Delaware, James Madison and William & Mary on Nov. 4-5 in a Colonial Athletic Association pod meet at the Seahawk Natatorium. The begin opens on Saturday at 10 a.m.
