Not gonna lie, I’m an Emma Sticklen fan. I love the unfiltered enthusiasm and honesty. I’ve also always been a fan of swimmers that somehow come through to blossom after they get to college. It takes some crazy resilience and belief to keep working at something for 10-15 years in the trenches as a “good” swimmer and maintain the belief you will someday come out on top as the best. Her comment about ignoring the TikTok haters and celebrating anyway says a lot about her attitude and the overall attitude of the team. Can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
