FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Emmanuel College Men’s swim team hosted the 7th annual EC Invite on Saturday October 5, 2019. This year’s invite was a quad meet. Competing teams included Milligan, Lagrange, and Point.
The Emmanuel Lions finished 1st overall and 1st in all 11 events contested.
NCAA national qualifying times earned: Alex Sobers (200 free), Igor Dantas (50 free, 100 fly) and Joao Santos (100 breast)

- The 200 medley relay (Jones, Courteaux, Reyman, Brown) finished 1st (1:38.74). The B relay ( McGhee, Roberts, Reiter, Andrews) finished 4th (1:47.28).
- In the 1000 free, Pedro Terra finished 1st (9:59.04), Xzavier Reiter 2nd (10:08.78)
- In the 200 free, Alex Sobers finished 1st (1:36.59), Joshua Varrie 2nd (1:48.33), Simon Roberts 5th (2:01.00)

The Emmanuel Lady Lions finished 1st overall and 1st in 9 out of the 11 events contested. Finishing with 12 personal best regular season times. 8 different lady Lions earned first place.

- The 200 medley A relay (Hunter, Simioni, Hayes, Arnold) finished 1st (1:50.86). The B relay (Svonja, Pieterse, Calka, Davidson) finished 2nd (1:58.08)
