Emory took .90 off the NCAA Division III record in the women’s 200 free relay a year after they had set it. The same quartet swam in the same order, and in the intervening year everyone was just that much faster.

Fiona Muir got things going for Emory with a quick first leg of 22.86. Hers was the second-fastest leadoff split in the field, just a tick behind Williams’ Emma Waddell (22.73). Marcela Sanchez-Aizcorbe took over and buried the field, clocking a 22.27 and giving Megan Taylor a full body length of clear water. Taylor went 22.63 to maintain the Emory lead, then Marissa Bergh closed with 22.76.
