Emory’s Oliver Smith Breaks D3 Record in 50 Free with 19.37 in Prelims

2018 NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships

50 Yard Freestyle – Prelims

Defending champion Oliver Smith of Emory took down the NCAA Division III record in the 50 free that had eluded him last year, going 19.37 to win the final heat on Wednesday morning. Smith erased a 2012 mark of 19.38 set by Zach Turk of Kenyon.
