Entire Texas A&M Home Schedule to Live Stream on SEC Network+

The entire home lineup for the Texas A&M Aggies in the 2015-2016 will be streamed live online on the SEC Network+.

A spokesperson for ESPN, the parent company of the SEC Network, says that no regular season dual meets will air on the television version, but that they can be watched on the SEC Network + via online streaming and through the WatchESPN app.

That includes tonight’s out-of-conference matchup against Incarnate Word and the Miami women, as well as next weekend’s rivalry showdown against the Texas Longhorns. The Texas men are the defending NCAA Champions.

Across-the-airwaves, two big January showdowns between the Texas Longhorns and SEC foes will air live on the Longhorn Network – an actual television channel. On the same weekend, Texas will host Auburn (January 7th) and Georgia (January 9th).

Other major showdowns on the schedule:

  • Indiana at Auburn (November 7th)
  • Auburn at Florida (January 23rd)

There is NO reason why the SEC cannot do this for every (swim and other) teams. NONE. The have the money, The college/university have the departments and equipment and students could easily run them for credit and or experience.

This is an area where I am super surprised it is not done. Heck my kids YMCA and high school team stream the meets over the internet. Why not the SEC or individual colleges??
