ESPN2 Will Air ISL Finale Sunday Afternoon

2019 INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING LEAGUE FINALE

  • Friday, December 20 – Saturday, December 21, 2019
  • 1:00 – 3:00 PM Local Time (U.S. Pacific Time)
  • Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino – Las Vegas, NV
  • Short Course Meters (SCM) format
  • Top 4 qualifying franchises: Energy Standard, London Roar, LA Current, Cali Condors

We get it. Maybe you were traveling. Or doing last-minute Christmas shopping. Or catching up on sleep after final exams. We’re not here to judge. But no matter the reason, if you were unable to watch either or both exciting days of the inaugural International Swimming League finale, fear not.

Sunday afternoon at 3pm Eastern Standard Time, ESPN2 will air a 90-minute condensed version of the two-day meet, presumably including some of the best swimming action we’ve seen all season, including world records from Daiya Seto (400IM) and Caeleb Dressel (50 free).

You’ll also get a chance to watch (or rewatch) the thrilling skins races, where a win by Sarah Sjostrom and a 2nd-place effort from Florent Manaudou helped Energy surge ahead to capture the first-ever ISL team title.

If you won’t be in front of a tv at that time tomorrow, you should be able to watch online at this link (although it may require a cable subscription), and we’ll update if we get any additional information. But if you can’t wait until tomorrow to watch, you can check out the races from today’s sessions here.

I hate to say it but the espn2 broadcast was not great. Could have skipped the 20 questions and shown full races instead!
