Some of the top stars of the 2016 Euro Meet discussed the things they love about the event in the pre-meet press conference this week.
SwimSwam’s own Daniela Kapser is live at the Euro Meet and captured the press conference video above.
The press conference panel includes (from left to right) Raphael Stacchiotti, Laurent Carnol (both of the host nation of Luxembourg), Laszlo Cseh, Katinka Hosszu (both of Hungary), Marco Koch (from Germany) and Velimir Stjepanovic (of Serbia).
You can read Daniela Kapser’s full recap of the press conference here. Some of the key takeaways: Cseh hasn’t yet decided on his Olympic lineup for Rio, but will swim the 400 IM as a training swim in Luxembourg, Hosszu and Cseh will swim at the 2016 European Championships for further race experience and training leading into Rio, and Koch credits the Euro Meet as the first international event he participated in outside of his home nation of Germany. Koch has competed at the Euro Meet eight times in his career.
